Sunny Day

Mom & I walked all the way around Green Lake today. I slept almost the entire walk.

I have Mom and Dad stumped, as I have had a hard time falling asleep on my own and fuss anytime I'm put to bed. This after my diaper has been changed, I've been fed and burped. I like to fall asleep on my Mom's chest. I'm also protesting morning naps. I'll stay awake for several hours, and fuss when my Mom tries to put me down. She wants her naps.

Busy weekend

My weekend was busy with Grandpa's b-day, the M's game, and helping out in the yard. My hat is a little too big right now, but I'm a growing hungry boy.

First Mariners' game

He went to his first M's game at 3 weeks old versus the Red Sox. He slept through most of it. We tried to get rally fries, but didn't succeed. One fan did give me ball from batting practice that he caught.

Mother's Day

We had a good Mother's Day at Grandma and Grandpa's house. I got to spend the afternoon with both my grandma's, grandpa, great grandma, and great aunt. We'll post pictures later. Mom and I have spent a few days at Grandma and Grandpa's house, so Dad can study for a mid-term and get some uninterrupted sleep. We'll return home tomorrow. Dad has missed us.

Observations from Week 1

I've officially been out of the womb for a week. Here are some observations and comments from Mom and I on the first week.

-Feeding is exhausting.

-I like to sleep. Mom and Dad always have to wake me to eat. I am gaining the weight back that I lost earlier.

-Mom and Dad think I'm so cute.

-Mom and I really appreciate Dad for all his help. We're going to miss him when he goes back to work on Monday.

-My extended family (grandparents, aunts/uncles) are great and so helpful to my parents. Words can't describe my parents' appreciation.

-Mom and Dad are mastering art of getting my diaper on, so it doesn't leak.

-Mom understands why ponytails are so easy for Moms to wear. She also put in her contacts for the first time in almost a week. She thinks this is progress.

-I sleep through Max barking. He's getting used to me, and he's behaving really well. I've tired him out with my schedule.
-Mom's off to take a short nap before another feeding.

Here are some new photos and videos.
