He's Here!!!

Mom is typing with one hand, as I sleep in her arms. My name is Ethan Craig (middle name is after my grandpa). I arrived on April 25th at 4:45 p.m., weighing 6 lbs., 0 ozs., and 19.5 in. long. Mom and Dad are excited, but exhausted. I like to eat a lot, cause I'm a small guy.
Here are some pics. More to be posted after space is made on the computer this weekend. Dad has taken a lot, plus videos.

Pics from the nursery + Max

Here are some more pics of the nursery, plus a new one of Max. He's too cute !!!

Another update-baby still in the oven

The little guy is still in the oven. I'm almost to 38 weeks. I have a dr.'s appointment tomorrow afternoon. She is happy about my fluid levels, so now I only have to go for the ultrasound/non-stress test once a week. My BP was down yesterday too (119/69). I'm enjoying the weather here. Let's hope it continues after he's born, so we can enjoy sunny walks outside.

Max is enjoying me being home. I've disrupted his whole sleep schedule, but he has been able to go to the dog park a few times (on my trip out of the house), so he's not complaining.

The room and everything is ready, so now we are just waiting for his arrival. I'll try to post some pics later.

Update

Mom-to-be is doing well. She continues modified bed rest. Her fluid levels were good yesterday. She has a dr.'s appt. tomorrow, then another ultrasound and non-stress test on Thursday. The BP is a little high, so there's something new to watch now.

Mom's on modified bed rest

So, Mom's on modified bed rest until Baby Boy Austria arrives. She can go out a bit, but mostly she's to lounge around the house, and no more going to work. It's hard for her to sit still and rest, but everyone says to take advantage of it before the baby arrives. Baby Boy Austria will probably be an April baby at this point, as they're closely watching my amniotic fluid level. It was low on Wednesday, but it went up ~3cm on Friday (drinking lots of water), and there are two more tests this coming week (Monday and Thursday). Mom hopes to keep the baby in her belly for at least another week, as her doctor's on vacation this week. The hospital bag is packed.

The nursery is really starting to come together. Dad spent most of yesterday putting things away and hanging pictures. We now have all the major necessities, and figure everything else can wait or we'll see what we really need when he arrives.

T-minus 1 month?

So, Baby Boy Austria is due one month from today. We'll see if he arrives early (like Dad), on-time, or late (like Mom).
Are Mom and Dad ready for him? We still need to get a few things before he arrives.
