Weekend fun

I had some new "toys" to play with in my highchair at my grandparent's house.

I had a great day with my cousins too.

Bow Down to Washington

I saw an amazing game this past Saturday, as the Huskies beat the #3 ranked USC Trojans. Okay, so I actually slept through the entire second half, including the go ahead field goal and end of game celebration. What can I say, I was tired. I had my first bus ride earlier that day, and I took in all the sites. Grandpa and Dad's voices were hoarse after the game.

Roll with me

I rolled from my tummy to back for the first time this weekend. Grandma was the first person to see it, then we got this on video.

Look at me sitting

I'm starting to sit propped up in chairs now, and I'm really close to rolling on my belly to my back.

Teething is pain, and my appetite hasn't been much the past two days, and I've just wanted to be held and gnaw on my hand or my parents' fingers. Hopefully this first tooth will break the surface soon. It's been going on too long already.

Bath Time

I'm really getting into bath time. I like to splash the water, kick my legs, and float on my back. Here's recent video. I signed an anti-nudity clause with my parents after a photo of my buns was posted and sent after my arrival.

My first meal...rice cereal

I had my first official meal, rice cereal. Mom and Dad tried to feed me briefly last weekend, but it only lasted only a few spoonfuls due to my cold. This time, it was a success. There is also a video at the bottom. I really like this food thing. Mom's worried what my appetite is going to be when I'm older. If it's anything like my Dad's, the grocery bill is going to be high.

My first Husky football win!!!

I witnessed the Huskies end their 15-game losing streak. Whew! I'm glad I wasn't around for that long streak (I've only seen one loss). Mom and Dad said it was painful.

It was a warm day, and I wore my shades.
Do you like my matching shirt and headphones?
I'm telling the defense who to tackle.

My First Husky Football game

I went to my first Husky football game (minus the games I attended in utero). It was a big game vs. LSU. We lost, but there's definitely been an improvement in the team in both ability and attitude. Dad got me industrial headphones to protect my hearing during the game, as you may have seen before. I wore them for most of the game, but slept the majority of the game without them.

Here is Dad and I with Coach Lorenzo Romar (Men's b-ball coach). I'll be seeing him during the upcoming basketball season.

I'm getting so big...comparisons

My Mom and Dad see me everyday, so they don't notice my growth as much as others who don't see me as often. Grandma and Grandpa claim I grow every time I see them. Here are some pictures where they can definitely see a change in me.

My first M's game at 3 weeks, and my last M's game this season at 18 weeks. My record was 3-3 for the season.

My Husky chair picture.

Weekend with my uncle and aunt

The last weekend in August my aunt and uncle came out to visit me from Tennessee. My uncle needs more practice at holding me. We had a busy, fun weekend. We went to the Ballard Locks on Friday. We headed down to Grandma and Grandpa's house for the weekend. We hit the Olympia Farmers' Market on Saturday (my second trip). I also tried out my high chair for my Grandparent's house. I'm going to try my first food very soon.

I also had my 4-month check-up at the end of August. I weighed 14 lbs, and I was 23.5 inches long. I'm moving up the chart to the 20s and 30s percentiles. My head is at the 50th percentile.

Pictures/posts will follow in the next day or so

We've been really busy the past few weeks. Mom hopes to post pictures/details this weekend. I'm battling my first cold and teething at the same time. Ugh.
I'm excited for my first Husky football game tonight. Go Dawgs!!!
