A cold trip to Zoo Lights (at least it didn't rain). I'll go back in a couple of years, when I actually know what I'm looking at.

Christmas 2009
My First Christmas. I was interested in the paper, forget the presents.
Sitting in front of my Grandparents' tree. I made out with the most gifts of anyone. I got to share my Christmas with my grandparents, Mom & Dad, Nonie, Great Aunt Amy, Uncle Colin, Aunt Cheyenne, family friend Jerry, Mattie, and Max. I celebrated with my Dad's family on Christmas Eve, but Dad forgot the battery to the camera.

Playing with some of my toys later on Christmas Day.

We match (layered look with Husky gear), how cute...
Uhh, who are you? You're not my Dad!

Stages
It's been awhile since there has been major text to this blog, but here are some recent updates/new things for our little guy at just over 7 months.
-No more swaddle, just sleep sack now (he's "this close" to doing the full rollover from back to belly)
-Can go down relatively easy now to sleep at night, next step is to do away with 10 p.m. feeding and hope he sleeps through the entire night
-Still hasn't cut his first tooth, although it's been working its way up for ~3 months
-Sits up independently
-Just started saying "ba ba" at various times
-Likes to pet Max, and have Max lick his hand when he has food on it.
-Likes paddy cake and pushes your hands together with his when clapping. He gives good slaps of the hand, next step high fives.
-Holding himself up a lot more, the next step will be crawling (yikes)
-Has loved to stand, while you hold him by his arms, hands, or trunks for most of his life
-Loves the bath (I think we may have a swimmer on our hands)
-Holding his own bottle at times. We've started the sippy cup, and he caught on quick, but sometimes he's lazy and wants the bottle.
Sporting event history in his first seven months (if you know us, you know our lives revolve around sports)
-6 M's games (1st at 3 weeks old)
-4 Husky football games (it was too cold for the last 2 in the evening), slept through the UW upset of the #3 (at the time) USC Trojans
-4 Men's basketball games (it's still early in the season, and he'll attend more)-he loves to watch these games, and is so far is very mellow at the games. He's made friends with the girl in front of us.
-1 UW Women's Volleyball match

Pictures
Christmas books from Grandma and Grandpa. I love to put books in my mouth right now. Who cares what the story is.
Grandpa's accident
Grandpa with his broken hand (big cast)
Grandpa with his modified cast a few days later. I'm snoozing in his lap, as I was recovering from a flu bug.
